Special
Instructions for your move to or from the U.S. Virgin Islands:
The United States
Virgin Islands consist of three major islands; St. Thomas, St.
Croix,
and St. John. Though the British Virgin Islands share a
similar name; they are under
the jurisdiction of another country and are a foreign
location. Traveling to one of the
United States Virgin Islands from one of the British Virgin
Islands will require reporting
to the nearest, designated, Immigration Service office
location for inspection.
When moving to or
from the U.S. Virgin Islands, contact a Compass Representative to
determine the economic value in shipping versus selling and
repurchasing your
household goods, boat and auto. In most cases it is often
more prudent and economical
to ship your household goods, boat and auto to the U.S.
Virgin Islands.
